The 2024 Vandergrift Artfest invites you to “think lovely thoughts,” fly across the night sky, and make your way to Neverland. This year is sure to be another nostalgic and engaging event with our Neverland theme embracing all things Peter Pan. Follow the pixie dust to the heart of downtown Vandergrift on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Artfest will run from noon to 9 pm, and will take place primarily on Grant Avenue, Farragut Avenue, and Columbia Avenue in the central business district. Artfest is free for visitors and shuttle service will be provided from the Big Lots Plaza in Allegheny Township. Artists and crafters will fill the streets, along with our local businesses and non-profits. A wide array of food delights will be offered by food trucks and vendors. A main stage and side stage area will bring live music throughout the entire festival. Special activities will be offered for children and families, and we will showcase our local young talent, too. New this year will be an art show for those who wish to showcase their talents. As always, the festival will be free to attend. Registration is now open! For the first time this year, we will elevate our annual Myers Family Palette Project in order to provide a scholarship to a local student who is studying art. Artfest has become a very special event for Vandergrift, attracting several thousand people for this celebration of the arts.
